Position

 

Facilities and Warehouse Attendant, Edmonton

 

The role features significant variability throughout the day, and the successful incumbent must be able to commence work at 5:00 a.m.

 

 

Location and Reporting Structure 

 

Reporting to the Superintendent, Regional Operations, this position will be based in Edmonton, AB.

 

 

Responsibilities 

 

Warehouse Duties:


•    Meet all scheduled daily inbound and outbound charter flights (Monday to Friday) to ensure the warehouse is open and operational, with the flexibility to report on evenings and/or weekends if flights are delayed or rescheduled due to weather.
•    Assist employees with storing and retrieving winter gear while ensuring no contraband or non‑permissible items are placed in storage.
•    Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of lost and found items.
•    Coordinate the handling and delivery of luggage and personal effects for former employees, ensuring timely and appropriate return.
•    Conduct daily inspections to ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and securely maintained.

 

Facilities Attendant Duties:


•    Support the travel department by overseeing the check‑in process with an emphasis on secure handling and tracking of employee gear, while providing calm, professional assistance to difficult individuals or those denied boarding to ensure safety and operational continuity.
•    Conduct routine walkthroughs to ensure office and warehouse areas are clean, safe, and operational.
•    Transport personnel, supplies, packages, and equipment between departments or locations as needed.
•    Assist with workspace setup, office moves, furniture assembly, and general organization.
•    Support inventory tasks, coordinate minor repairs with vendors, and replenish office and breakroom supplies.

 

 

Desired Competencies and Requirements 

 
•    One (1) year of experience in warehouse coordination, general building maintenance and or customer service focused position.
•    High School Diploma or equivalent required, additional vocational or security training is considered an asset.
•    Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
•    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (lbs) and perform physical tasks safely.
•    Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems as needed.
•    Demonstrated strong reliability, dependability, and adaptability while consistently delivering calm, customer focused service in a fast paced and variable operational environment.
