Position
Travel Administrator
Location and Reporting Structure
Reporting to the Superintendent, Travel, this position will be based in the Edmonton Office, AB.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and update comprehensive records of all Travel Authorization Forms, Hub Change Requests, and staff movement (ins/outs) on the master schedule to ensure accuracy and accountability;
• Monitor and manage the travel team’s shared email inbox, ensuring timely responses, proper categorization, and escalation of inquiries or issues as needed;
• Process onboarding travel profiles for new hires in INNfinity, ensuring all required information is accurately entered and maintained in accordance with organizational standards;
• Act as a support liaison between the Travel Team and the Edmonton Charter Hub, facilitating smooth check-in procedures and resolving any logistical issues that may arise;
• Prepare detailed travel-related reports and summaries for internal use and management review, supporting data-driven decision-making; and
• Assist in the coordination and booking of flights and accommodations, ensuring arrangements align with approved travel plans.
Desired Competencies and Requirements
• Two (2) years’ in administration with preference to those that have experience in the airline or transportation industry;
• Post Secondary Certificate in management studies, travel or logistics is an asset;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
• Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada; and
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data effectively using common tools and function.
Compensation and Benefits
For informational purposes, the hourly rate for the role $33.65.
