The Company

B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

Position

Coordinator, Goose Site, Nunavut 

Location and Reporting Structure 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities 

• Perform general site office administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of projects and site operations, including but not limited to: production/amending of documents, reporting, supporting materials, presentation materials, data analysis, data entry, document control, budget tracking, dispensing of travel/project information (as necessary), and general clerical duties; assist in the planning of VIP tours and site visits;
• Manage meeting logistics and documentation; draft communication memos on behalf of site management and send Goose notifications;
• Oversee site office management, including but not limited to ordering supplies for departments and liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment;
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems; prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required; and
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely manner.

Desired Competencies and Requirements 

• Three(3) years’ experience in project administration, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector; 
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or related);
• PM Certificate is considered an asset;
• Strong computer related knowledge with focus on Microsoft Suite (emphasis on programs such as Word and Excel); and 
• Experience with projects in remote camp settings considered an asset (mining or related preferred). 

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $100,594.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $36.50 and overtime rate of $54.75) in a work year.
B2Gold Nunavut offers a competitive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills, plus a group benefits package for employees and their dependents.
