HRIS Support Coordinator
Introduction
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global HR Practices & Governance, the incumbent is a key member of the B2Gold Corporate SuccessFactors (SF)/HRIS team, supporting business transformation through the implementation and sustainment of a global HRIS system. In collaboration with the HRIS Lead and the AMS service provider, the HRIS Support Coordinator is responsible for providing intermediate-level functional support and system administration across multiple SuccessFactors modules, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Central, Performance & Goals (PMGM), Succession, and Learning.
This role acts as the primary functional support resource for Regional HRIS contacts and HR stakeholders, ensuring system stability, data integrity, effective configuration, and optimal user experience. The Coordinator supports system enhancements, release management, testing and continuous improvement initiatives within a global HR systems environment.
Location
This is a full-time position based at B2Gold’s Corporate Office in Vancouver, Canada. The role follows our hybrid work model of four days in-office and one day remote each week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Functional System Support
- Serve as primary support contact for end-user inquiries across Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Central, PMGM, Succession, and Learning;
- In collaboration with the AMS provider, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues within established SLAs;
- Partner with HR teams to clarify business requirements and recommend system-based solutions;
- Escalate complex technical or integration issues to IT or external vendors as required;
- Maintain documentation (including governance documents and training aids).
Configuration & Module Administration
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Maintain job requisition templates, offer templates, and onboarding workflows;
- Support candidate status workflows and recruiting permissions;
- Troubleshoot integration points between Recruiting and Onboarding.
- Employee Central
- Maintain foundation objects, organizational structures, position management, and business rules;
- Support workflows, event reasons, and data model changes (within approved governance);
- Manage role-based permissions (RBP) in alignment with internal controls.
- Performance & Goals (PMGM)
- Configure and maintain goal plans and performance form templates;
- Support annual performance cycle setup, calibration, and form routing workflows;
- Provide cycle testing and post-launch support.
- Succession & Development
- Maintain succession data models, talent pools, and nomination methods;
- Support talent review session setup and reporting.
- Learning (LMS)
- Support implementation activities;
- Troubleshoot user and manager access issues.
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using SuccessFactors reporting tools (e.g., Story reporting);
- Perform mass data uploads and corrections using import templates;
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Release & Change Management
- Review biannual SuccessFactors release notes and assess business impact;
- Document system changes, configuration updates, and testing outcomes.
Controls & Governance
- Ensure proper access controls and segregation of duties are maintained;
- Support audit requests and documentation requirements;
- Adhere to HRIS governance standards and data privacy regulations;
- Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.
Requirements:
- Specialized university degree in a related discipline – Human Resources, Business and/or Computer Sciences;
- 3–5 years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors functional support experience;
- SAP SuccessFactors experience with knowledge of SF best practices, processes, and methodologies required, certification preferred;

- Proficiency in data imports, business rules, and basic configuration;

- Understanding of HR data structures and integration concepts;
- Experience with reporting solutions and other HRIS environments required;
- Proven and demonstrable technical and functional proficiency with the SAP Human Capital management Cloud Platform and system, SuccessFactors and module integrations;
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the implementation of assignments with other business process changes and/or initiative;
- Skilled in overall change management, communication, and implementation of organizational changes;
- Proven ability to adapt to change quickly and to manage multiple priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and document standard operating policies and procedures and develop appropriate training programs;
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills (written and verbal in English) and the ability to present information accordingly;
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with staff at all levels and be able to work independently, as a team leader and as a team member.
Job Demands/Physical Requirements:
- This position is based out of our Vancouver head office on a full-time basis with occasional domestic and international travels required (~10% of the time) which may be in short notice.

B2Gold offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience, knowledge and skill set, and a comprehensive benefit package for employees and their eligible dependents. The base salary range for this position is CAD $80,000 – 90,000 per annum, which is the anticipated pay at the time of hire but does not reflect similar future job opportunities. Details of the total compensation package will be shared during the interview process.
